THE BLUME EDIT

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. BOOKING & PAYMENT

A booking is confirmed once:

  • the booking form has been completed
  • an invoice has been issued
  • the required booking payment has been received

All pricing is listed in AUD unless otherwise stated.

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date. Due to the nature of event bookings, dates are reserved exclusively for each client once confirmed.

Final balances are due no later than 30 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. HIRE PERIOD

Standard hire periods apply for the duration of your wedding/event unless otherwise agreed.

Hire items must be returned:

  • on the agreed return date
  • in the condition they were received
  • with all components included

Late returns may incur additional hire fees.

3. CARE OF HIRE ITEMS

All hire items remain the property of The Blume Edit at all times.

Clients agree to:

  • handle all items with reasonable care
  • avoid exposure to open flames or extreme weather
  • avoid unnecessary damage during use or transport
  • ensure items are safely stored during the hire period

Artificial florals are delicate styling pieces and should be treated accordingly.

4. DAMAGE, LOSS & SECURITY BOND

A refundable security bond may apply to selected hire items or installations.

Clients are responsible for:

  • damaged items
  • missing items
  • theft during the hire period
  • damage caused by guests, venues, or third-party suppliers

Normal wear consistent with standard event use is excluded.

Where items are damaged beyond repair or not returned, replacement costs may apply.

5. DELIVERY, SETUP & PACK-DOWN

Delivery and setup fees vary depending on:

  • location
  • access requirements
  • installation complexity
  • event size

Clients must ensure safe and reasonable venue access is available at agreed times.

Pack-down collection times will be arranged prior to the event.

6. REPURPOSING OF FLORALS

Many floral installations are intentionally designed to be repurposed throughout the event day.

Repurposing services may be included within selected packages or quoted separately depending on labour and venue logistics.

7. CANCELLATIONS & DATE CHANGES

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Booking payments are non-refundable.

Where possible, date transfers may be accommodated subject to:

  • availability
  • notice provided
  • collection availability

Additional fees may apply for significant booking changes.

8. PRODUCT VARIATION

While every effort is made to maintain consistency, slight variations may occur due to:

  • seasonal stock updates
  • supplier availability
  • collection improvements
  • styling refinements

The overall collection aesthetic and colour palette will always be maintained as closely as possible.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING

The Blume Edit reserves the right to photograph and use event styling imagery for:

  • website content
  • social media
  • marketing purposes

Professional photographer credit will always be provided where applicable.

10. LIABILITY

The Blume Edit is not responsible for:

  • venue restrictions
  • weather-related impacts
  • third-party supplier actions
  • injuries resulting from misuse of hire items

Liability is limited to the value of the hire services provided.

11. SUSTAINABILITY & REUSABLE FLORALS

Our collections are intentionally designed using premium reusable real-touch florals to encourage a more sustainable and lower-waste approach to wedding styling.

Clients acknowledge that hired floral collections are reusable event pieces and may show minor handling characteristics consistent with professional event hire.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Shipping & Delivery

The Blume Edit offers Australia-wide shipping on selected faux floral products, along with professional delivery and installation services for larger hire items.

Delivery availability depends on:

  • wedding location
  • event size
  • installation requirements
  • collection availability

Collection-Only Hire

Selected items may be available for collection-only hire depending on size and fragility.

Collection instructions and return details will be provided prior to your event.

Setup & Pack-Down

Larger floral installations and styling collections generally require professional setup and pack-down by The Blume Edit team.

This ensures:

  • correct installation
  • styling quality
  • item safety
  • efficient repurposing throughout the event

Travel Fees

Travel fees may apply for regional locations or venues outside standard service areas.

DELIVERY & RETURNS

Delivery & Collection Information

The Blume Edit offers delivery, setup, repurposing, and pack-down services  free within 50 km of Bunbury, WA on our:

  • Flower walls
  • Ceremony arches
  • Floral installations
  • Large hire pieces

Beyond 50km of Bunbury, Delivery pricing varies depending on:

  • location
  • venue access
  • installation requirements
  • collection size
  • pack-down timing

Delivery and collection times will be arranged prior to your event date.

Hire Returns

For collection-only hires:

  • items must be returned on the agreed date and time
  • all hire items must be returned in their original condition
  • all components and packaging must be included

Late returns may incur additional hire fees.

Venue Access

Clients are responsible for ensuring:

  • safe venue access
  • loading access where required
  • setup time availability
  • pack-down access arrangements

Additional charges may apply where significant delays or access restrictions occur.
